The Who Had 4 members, Roger Daltrey (Vocals), Pete Townshend (Guitar/song writer), John Entwisle (Bass), and Keith Moon (Drums). Before The Who made albums, they were not accepted because their drummer (Doug Sandom) was not good enough. Keith Moon came up and said that he was a better drummer than Doug. He tried out and he joined the band forming The Who.
